Racing and fashion collide next Monday, July 10, when Roscommon Racecourse stages its SuperValu Ladies' Day.
Lifestyle, fashion and beauty influencer Pam Richardson-Hoare has been confirmed as judge for the event, and six SuperValu stores in Roscommon have come together to sponsor Ladies' Day, which has become one of Roscommon’s most popular race meetings.
The winner of the best dressed competition will walk away with a top prize of €1,200, while the nine runners-up will each receive €100.
The SuperValu shops sponsoring the event are Fleming SuperValu in Roscommon, Smith SuperValu in Monksland, Glancy SuperValu in Carrick-On-Shannon, Keane SuperValu in Lanesboro, McGuinness SuperValu in Strokestown, and Cahill SuperValu, Castlerea.
Limerick native, now based in Galway, Pam Richardson-Hoare, said: "I love the social aspect of going racing, dressing up and having a great day out with my friends, so I’m really thrilled and honoured to be judging the SuperValu Ladies' Day at Roscommon Races on Monday July 10.
"The style at Roscommon is always outstanding and I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing all the summer style.”
There will be some high class racing too. It’s an all-jumps card including what is always a well contested novice hurdle and, for the day that’s in it, the card will end with a ladies' bumper.

The first race goes to post at 5pm and the race sponsors are JP McManus, SuperValu Co Roscommon, RE/Max Team Earley Roscommon, the Roscommon Herald and the Irish EBF.
The best turned out prizes are sponsored by Lynch Flooring, Golf Links Road, Roscommon.

There is a 10 per cent discount available on admission tickets purchased online. Cash and card payments are accepted at the gate.
