THE WORK of two very different Galway artists - Geraldine O'Rourke and Sacha Hutchinson - is currently on display at the Renzo Café on Eyre Street.
Geraldine O'Rourke works in various media, including porcelain, handmade paper, acrylic painting, drawings, and photography. Her work for this exhibition is a collection of fine art prints made by combining original artwork and photographs.
Sacha Hutchinson's work focuses on the birds found along the shore and in the coastal meadows by Galway Bay are the focus of my work. "As their numbers continue to fall," she said, "their conservation is ever more important.” She works in pen, paint, gouache, and oil.
