Tommy Fleming at Galway Cathedral

Singer to play Galway as part of latest nationwide tour

TOMMY FLEMING, often described as "the voice of Ireland," is this month touring Irish cathedrals, and will play Galway Cathedral for a special concert on Saturday November 30.

Tommy has more than 10 million YouTube hits and 3.5 million album sales worldwide. His Voice of Hope 2 double album and DVD, recorded in Galway Cathedral in September 2018, was the fifth biggest selling Irish album of 2018 and was in the music charts for 20 weeks. The Voice Of Hope original release in 2005 was recorded in Knock Basilica. It has sold 1.5 million copies and is still one of the biggest sellers in Tommy's catalogue.

Tommy, who has sold out venues across the world, has won acclaim for his own arrangements of 'Danny Boy', 'Isle of Inisfree', and 'Hard Times'. He also covers songs like 'You Raise Me Up', 'Bridge over Troubled Waters', 'From a Distance', and 'Something Inside so Strong', along with contemporary numbers. While his music may be difficult to classify, fans use such words as “deeply emotional, romantic and sincere” to describe the feelings it evokes.

Tickets are available from the Cathedral Bookshop; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; and www.tommyfleming.net
