t was a case of déjà vu for Galwegians on Saturday when they went down to a second consecutive defeat at the hands of Highfield in their return fixture in Cork in UBL Division 2A.
After a poor start in which they conceded two tries in the opening 10 minutes, Wegians took control of the half. However their inability to execute close to the line proved their undoing, and they settled for a penalty from outhalf Morgan Codyre to open their account on 30 minutes.

Galwegians started with intent and dominated the opening exchange. Early pressure led to a penalty on eight minutes, but out-half Morgan Codyre was wide of the mark.
