Fundraising table quiz for St Annins

St Annins National School Rosscahill is organising a table quiz for Friday February 26 at 8.30pm in the Killannin Community Centre, in order to raise funds for enhancement works at the school.
The school has recently experienced a significant expansion in pupil numbers and projected figures indicate this trend is likely to continue. In order to meet this demand the school is currently in the process of developing a new classroom and car park.

Major resurfacing works to repair the “crater like” potholes on Main Street, Ballygar, will be carried out within the next two weeks according to Fine Gael councillor Paul Connaughton jr.
Cllr Connaughton had been calling for the repair work after the severe floods before Christmas left the street “badly potholed”.
