Journalist Cian O'Connell recently returned to the Galway Advertiser. An enthusiastic follower of sport in the west, Cian previously worked for the official GAA website.
Passionate about the fortunes of the flagship maroon and white inter-county teams and club matters, he also has a significant interest in Galway United, Galway WFC, and local junior soccer.
Cian O'Connell, who has recently returned to work at the Galway Advertiser is a passionate follower of many sports. In the Advertiser GAA podcast he hopes to showcase what is happening on a local level every week, in partnership with Colm Gannon of The Mayo Advertiser.
Colm Gannon has been covering Mayo GAA for the Mayo Advertiser for the past 15 years. The Breaffy native has been immersed in GAA all his life, along with many other sports. He is looking forward to discussing the issues of the day alongside Cian O’Connell, of The Galway Advertiser, over the coming weeks and months.
