“I was on holidays in Portugal and came across a Lanidor store in the city of Portimão and I really liked the look of the shop and loved the window display,” says Galway native, Caroline McCarthy in Lanidor’s beautiful, chic boutique on Eyre Street. “So I went in, had a look around, and really liked the clothes. The quality of the clothing stuck me initially. It was very good quality but very well priced. I did not know anything about the Lanidor brand until then; I had not even heard of the brand but it was really love at first sight.

Stefan, a native of Sweden, has had an exciting career in hospitality management spanning over 20 years. He started his career with MHL Hotel Collection as Operations Manager in the Limerick Strand in November 2008. His journey with MHL continued and in May 2011 he was promoted to the position of General Manager at the Harbour Hotel in Galway. He successfully managed that hotel for more than five years and then moved back to Limerick in October 2016, to take up the position of General Manager at the Limerick Strand Hotel.

Official opening of Corrandulla playground tomorrow evening

The official opening of Corrandulla Community Playground will take place tomorrow Friday.The ribbon will be cut jointly by Independent TD Sean Canny and Independent councillor James Charity, chair of the playground committee, in a ceremony at 6pm in Corrandulla.

Cllr Charity said this is significant development and much needed amenity for the community which would not have been possible but for the help and assistance of many sponsors.
