Kyne welcomes funding for Galway’s animal welfare organisations

Minister Seán Kyne has welcomed the allocation of €87,000 to animal welfare organisations in Galway.The funding is part of a €2,906,000 allocation by Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Michael Creed to 106 animal welfare organisations across the country.

“The organisations benefiting include Galway SPCA which has received €40,000, MADRA and Pro Animale Ireland CLG both received €12,000 each, along with funding allocations for Fellenberg Foundation Ireland Ltd, Forgotten Horses Ireland, Galway & Claddagh Swan Rescue, Galway Cat Rescue and Renvyle Cat and Dog Rescue,” he said.
