The west of Ireland’s largest service station and oil distribution provider Corrib Oil has agreed a deal to buy forecourt retailer H2 Group.
The deal, subject to approval by the competition regulator, will see Corrib Oil acquire 13 retail sites based across the south and east of Ireland, expanding the Corrib Retail footprint to 33 stores in total.

Self-charging hybrid car ownership is booming in rural Ireland and cities, and has increased by 43 per cent in Galway compared to last year. Toyota hybrid's market share now accounts for 74 per cent of sales in Galway, according to the latest SIMI figures .
Toyota, a leader in hybrid space, was responsible for 71 per cent of the self-charging category sales, having invested in hybrid technology more than 20 years ago.
