Fiat Ireland says customers can now benefit from a new pricing structure that will mean petrol and diesel variants for its Tipo Family are now aligned.
The entry price for the Tipo Family will now be the sedan easy version at €17,995 (or the hatchback pop version for the same price) for both the 95hp petrol and diesel versions (petrol 1.4 95hp, diesel 1.3 95hp).

Volkswagen and Seat has confirmed a technical issue on the current new VW Polo (model year 2018), new Seat Ibiza (2017 and 2018 models) and Seat Arona (2018 model year).
There is the possibility that in rare situations (eg, sudden quick lane changes with five passengers on board) and when the rear centre seat and the rear left seat are occupied at the same time, the left seat belt lock could be unintentionally released.

This follows a 50 per cent increase in cyclist fatalities last year (2017), and in the light of these stark statistics, drivers are being asked to slow down and keep a safe distance when overtaking cyclists on both urban and rural roads. This call comes following serious concerns over the number of cyclists killed on Irish roads this year.
