LIMERICK FOLK-rock band Hermitage Green are heading to Galway to play Monroe’s Backstage Bar on Thursday October 11 at 10pm.
The band’s five members have contrasting musical tastes, ranging from traditional Irish and folk music to metal. Expect hard hitting rhythms driven by bodhráns and djembes with four part vocal harmonies soaring over the top.

Lead vocalist, Romek was born in Gdansk and toured Poland with various jazz, swing, soul, and blues groups, including the Mietek Blues Band, with whom he recorded several albums. Guitarist Simon is from London and is a former member of r’n’b band Mojo Chill’n.
