DARA Ó Foghlu, Paul Denby, and Vinny Steed will read from their work at the 13th annual Over The Edge/Cúirt Festival of International Literature New Writing Showcase.
Fiction writer Dara O Foghlu is a native of Galway. His stories have been published in Ropes as well as in three collections from The Atlantis Collective. He also works as a freelance editor. Paul Denby works as a software engineer and writes poetry. He was shortlisted for the 2017 Over The Edge’ New Writer of the Year Competition. Poems by Vinny Steed have been published in The Galway Review, Headstuff, Skylight 47, Crannóg, Into The Void, Tales From The Forest, and in Ofi Press magazine.
The event takes place in the Town Hall Theatre on Wednesday April 25 at 11am and will be MCed by the poet and short story writer Susan Millar DuMars. Also reading will be Eimear O’Callaghan and Eoin Hegarty, the winners of the Cúirt New Writing Poetry Prize 2018. Admission is free and all are welcome.
