Symphony of the Seas — a stunning floating resort at sea

Royal Caribbean launched its latest ship, Symphony of the Seas, last week in Barcelona. Caroline O'Toole and Fiona Flaherty from Fahy Travel cruise department were invited to the launch and spent two nights on board what is now the largest ship in the world.

You can choose from 19 places to eat, ranging from hot dog kiosks to huge dining rooms. For something extra special, you can pay a supplement to eat in Chops Grille steak house, or try some sushi in Izumi. Hooked Sea Food restaurant is a new addition to Royal Caribbean. Jamie’s Italian is an all time favourite, or why not take a journey into the unimaginable and dine in Wonderland. The choices are endless.

If you want to burn off some calories, you can find a walking track on the top deck, plus a gym which offers numerous classes including Pilates and yoga, so be sure to pack the runners. Or you can chill out in the Terminal suite and have a full body massage, the choice is yours.
