THAT SAME Old Story, Espresso Productions' acclaimed music/theatre showing life and love in contemporary Ireland, returns to the Town Hall Theatre studio, next week.
The complete life cycle of a love relationship is diced, sliced, and intimately scrutinised in this play, written and directed by Gerry Conneely, which also features jazz classics of the 1940s. Conor and Katey are young. Frank and Maggie are much older. The young lovers relationship develops, while the older couple's relationship becomes stale, leading them to contemplate divorce. That impulse of delight that set them on their way has long since worn away. How did this happen? Why did love fail?
The show runs from Monday April 16 to Friday 20 at 8.30pm. Tickets are available via 091 - 569777 or www.tht.ie
