“Lorraine is a very competent person and having come from retailing stock she is fundamentally aware of the issues facing members. I would like to be the first to congratulate Lorraine on her continued advancement in Retail Excellence.
Lorraine Higgins said this is a very proud moment for her personally and she look forward to taking on the role of CEO at Retail Excellence and building on the extraordinary success of David Fitzsimons over the past 22 years.
"I intend to work hard to further drive the strategic development of the organization, on every level, with the support of our Board, internal committees and members.
“These are exciting and challenging times in retail but I will ensure our members continue to be prioritized and that the high standard of service and support they have come to expect, is maintained," she concluded.
