Reailtín Stara , pictured with vice President of Limer ick Lawn Tennis Club Eileen Howlett, won the South of Ireland Junior Tennis Championship U12 singles title in Limerick Lawn Tennis Club, defeating Rebecca O’Mahony from Sunday’s Well B & T Club 6-2, 6-1
In recent months the Galway Lawn Tennis player also became the Tennis Ireland U12 National Spring Champion.
Stara joined Cameron Dooley in the U12 mixed doubles finishing runners-up, while there was more success for the club with Alison Hennessy and Roisin Moore winning the U16 doubles final.
