Shuffle! marks fifth birthday this weekend

Róisín Dubh's Northern Soul night marks a milestone

SHUFFLE!, GALWAY'S night of northern soul, blues, ska, Latin, boogaloo, r'n'b, and rock'n'roll is back this weekend at the Róisín Dubh, with DJ Dave Barry joined by Count Skylarkin.

Count Skylarkin (aka Tuam native Aodhán Ó Lorcáin ), described by The Guardian as,“The King of Rum and Bass", and by Earl Gateshead of the Trojan Soundsystem as “one of the top DJs in the country… he mixes the records like a dance DJ…he really gets the place jumping," will be on the decks this Saturday. Expect jump blues, sixties R&B, reggae, ska, boogaloo, and northern soul. The night will mark Shuffle's fifth birthday and there will be Shuffle CDs and stickers available. Admission is free.
