Little Hours to play Róisín Dubh

Donegal singer-songwriter to play Galway as part of new Irish tour

FOLLOWING THE release last month of the single 'Heavy On You', Little Hours - aka Donegal singer-songwriter John Doherty - are set to tour Ireland, stopping off at the Róisín Dubh next week.

Since the release of the debut single ‘Water’, Little Hours have won much attention and praise. Last year they saw their EP Too Much Patience reach No 1; while during the summer they played the main stage at Electric Picnic, and were the special guests of both Birdy and Rodrigo y Gabriela in Britain. Doherty, who is originally from Killybegs, also enjoyed his own tour of Britain, not to mention a string of sold-out Irish shows. More recently he supported his Rubyworks label-mates Hudson Taylor on their sold out European tour.

Little Hours play the Róisín Dubh on Friday April 13 at 8pm. Tickets are available from www.roisindubh.net; the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street; and The Róisín Dubh.
