School of Rock returns with weekly sessions

Galway’s acclaimed School of Rock will be hosting new weekly sessions, starting next month.

These sessions will include tuition in vocals, guitar/bass, and percussion, and a jam.

Week by week students will build a set list for a live concert to be held at the end of term.

School of Rock’s new junior groups will take on players aged eight to 12, with senior sessions continuing with groups aged 13 to 18. Each age group will be split into beginner and intermediate/advanced players, so all ability levels are catered for. For the beginner course, instruments can be provided for those without, at no extra charge.

School of Rock kicks off after the Easter holidays. Beginners start on Tuesday, April 10, and intermediates on Thursday April 12. Both sessions run from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.

The School of Rock tutors are experienced and highly respected professional musicians who are dedicated to honing students' music performance and ensemble skills in a creative and fun environment. The School of Rock team believe learning music should be fun, exciting, and you should feel great every time you pick up your instrument.
