GALWAY IS about to be treated to a unique fusion of hardcore infused, melodic thrash metal - one fed on a diet of vintage Black Sabbath, early Metallica, NWOBHM - when Donum Dei hit town.
Belfast quartet Donum Dei play The Cellar Bar, Eglinton Street, on Saturday March 24 at 8.30pm. The band are currently on tour in support of their critically acclaimed debut album Contribute To Chaos. Their sound is a tour-de-force of raw and savage sonic fury, earth pounding riffs, and high charged solos. They have supported Onslaught and Artillery.
Support is from Cork hardcore band Worn Out, who Goldenplec.com called “a more stripped down version of Converge”, and Disconnect, who recently released the EP Savoured Lacerations.
This show is presented by Damage Inc Galway; The Cranium Titanium Metal Show, FlirtFM 101.3; Burning Metal; and Metal Radio Ireland. Admission is €5.
