CAOIMHÍN Ó RAGHALLAIGH, one of the most acclaimed and prolific Irish musicians of his generation, will perform at the next Nocturne show at Loam restaurant, Fairgreen Road.
Caoimhín is best known for his work as a member of The Gloaming and This Is How We Fly, but is also an accomplished solo artist, with 15 recordings under his name, ranging from the traditional to the avant garde. "I enjoy both equally," he says, "playing the old music I love, and exploring the region where traditional music begins to disintegrate."
