St Patrick’s Day at the Connemara Coast

Saint Patrick’s Day, or Lá Fhéile Pádraig, is the biggest celebration of Irish heritage and culture, enjoyed not only in Ireland, but across the world. Being the most widely celebrated national festival, it is easy to see why there is such a feeling of connectivity around the world on this day.

A day of many céad míle fáilte, St Patrick’s Day celebrates all things Irish and in keeping with that theme, the Connemara Coast Hotel is busy with preparations. Award winning head chef Kevin Cleary has prepared a special Irish themed menu to celebrate including traditional Irish stew, Guinness infused Irish braised beef, and a fillet of salmon in a watercress cream sauce.

On Saturday March 17, Sin Scéal Eile and Players Bar will open at 11am, so get down early to get your seat as we see Ireland take on England for the Grand Slam with kick off at 2.45pm live from Twickenham Stadium.
