New Spanish courses for beginners starting in April at The Spanish Institute

Spanish courses for beginners start the week of April 10. These eight week courses are designed for those who want to spend their summer holiday in Spain or Latin America and would like to gain some basics of the language.

The Express I course — for people with no previous knowledge of Spanish — will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The Express II — post 12 hours of study — will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, or Thursday mornings from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The course fee is €160 with the material included.

All courses at The Spanish Institute are designed to be fun and interactive with a heavy emphasis on everyday oral communication. This modern and well equipped study centre, along with the qualified, native, teachers, provides a friendly learning environment in which students are encouraged to learn through interacting with one another.

Many Irish people regularly make leisure or business trips to Spain and Latin America and enjoy the Spanish culture and food that is so popular in Galway due to our shared historical connections. The Spanish Institute hopes to preserve this connection and encourages local people to enjoy the Spanish language and culture through its language courses, events, and activities which include conversation classes, pronunciation labs, Spanish cinema evenings, and immersion trips open to everyone. Keep an eye on The Spanish Institute’s Facebook page for updates.
