AN ALL-ages opoen mic and gigs from Galway bands Liquid Space and Oh Boland form part of Sos. #2 - the gig nights that celebrate Galway city and county's diverse and original music community.
Sos. #2 takes place on Saturday March 10 in the Nuns Island Theatre. It begins at 7pm with refreshments and beats from DJ Graham Dolan, followed by an all ages open mic, before a gig from local rockers Liquid Space, and a headline set from Tuam garage-rock.indie/punk trio Oh Boland.
Sos. is a voluntary run event which promotes social inclusion and positive mental health through the medium of creativity in music. The night is drug and alcohol free and open to all ages. It is run in partnership with the Galway Arts Centre, The Galway City Council, and The UNESCO Child and Family Research Centre. Admission is free.
