DREAMING HER Dreams: A Night in Memory of Dolores O’Riordan, which takes place this weekend, will see some of Galway's finest singers and musicians perform songs by the late Limerick songwriter.
The event takes place in the Róisín Dubh this Sunday from 7.30pm with all money raised going towards Chernobyl Children International, a charity Dolores supported. The line-up is Tracy Bruen, Anna Mullarkey, Barbara Vulso, Steven Sharpe, Orlagh De Bhaldraithe, The Flying Head and Therese McManus, Niceol Blue, Paul McManus, and Coili Mullins. The live set will be followed by a sing-along where everyone is invited to join in.
The show has been organised by Elena Toniato. “Dolores left a rich and wonderful legacy of songs and we would like to honour her, and her exceptional talent. Galway has a wealth of skilled musicians, many of whom were inspired by Dolores, and I am deeply grateful to them all for being a part of this. I have been a fan of The Cranberries since they shot to fame in the early 90s and I invite all her fans to join us for what will be a very special night in Dolores’ memory."
Tickets are €8/6 on the door. See Fecebook and www.chernobyl-international.com
