Sunday is not complete without a roast dinner but for many, this age-old tradition has become somewhat lost in recent years. Now, SALT Restaurant & Bar at 163 Upper Salthill is reviving the traditional Sunday roast… but it’s doing so with a twist.
Carve Your Own at SALT will see diners invited to carve their own roast, allowing each member of the party to decide exactly how much or how little they want on their plate. Carve Your Own is aimed at groups of four but larger parties can also be catered for (ask for details at time of booking ).
Beginning on Sunday, February 4, guests can choose between a leg of lamb, a rib of beef, a loin of bacon on the bone, or an Irish-farmed whole chicken. A fish option will also be available. Each dish comes with sides of stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, mash, and vegetables and all of this costs just €50 at SALT. There will also be the option to add a bottle of house wine for an additional €20.
Booking for Carve Your Own is essential and bookings must be confirmed before 4pm on the Friday prior to the booking. So, in order to secure your Carve Your Own for Sunday, February 4, guests must make their booking before 4pm on Friday, February 2.
The new Carve Your Own initiative at SALT Restaurant & Bar is the perfect excuse to bring friends and family together for a traditional Sunday roast… but without the hard work and washing up after dinner.
