THE GALWAY Dance Project holds its first workshop of 2018 this weekend, with classes in improvisation and activating space with James Riordan and Cathy Walsh.
The workshop take place in The View, Áras Na Mac Leinn, NUI Galway, this Saturday from 10am to 3pm. It will concentrate on somatic exploration, activating sensations, and bringing them out into the shared space. Participants will work individually, in pairs, and with the group, training their bodies for improvisation and authentic movement. It is suitable for all levels, and is aimed as being beneficial for dancers, dance artists, actors, performers, and anyone interested in movement.
