AS THEY put the finishing touches to their second album, which has been produced by Ryan Hadlock, best known for his work with The Lumineers and Vance Joy, Hudson Taylor are also preparing for a major tour of Ireland.
The duo, brothers Harry and Alfie Hudson-Taylor, begin their tour in Belfast, before playing Dublin, Cork, and Limerick, as well as the ballroom of the Radisson Hotel, on Saturday March 31 at 7.30pm.
Hudson Taylor began by busking on the streets of their hometown of Dublin as well as cities all over Europe, eventually graduating to stages in venues around the country. In 2015 they released their debut album, Singing For Strangers, produced by Iain Archer (James Bay, Jake Bugg ), which also yielded the hits ‘Chasing Rubies’, ‘Battles’, and ‘Weapons’.
Last year was a good one for the duo, playing Electric Picnic and seeing their single 'Feel It Again' become one of the biggest national airplay hits of 2017. They also completed a run of arena shows with Picture This, and supported both The Script and Kodaline in Dublin. This year will see them tour across Europe in support of their forthcoming new single 'Run With Me', before crossing the Atlantic for an extensive US tour in the spring.
This is a 'Róísín Dubh presents...' show. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
