Burglary in Rahoon

A break-in occurred at an apartment in Dun Aras on Bishop O’Donnell Road last week.

The apartment was burgled at 4am on Thursday December 14. A gear bag and a black Fujitsu laptop were taken. The apartment was entered through an unlocked door. A unidentified man was seen walking from the scene with a gear bag. Anybody who saw anything of note in the area on the night, or who has any information on this crime, is asked to contact Salthill Garda Station at 091 514720.

Burglary in Corrandulla

A house under construction in Cloonboo, Corndulla, was broken in to last weekend and a number of tools and other items were stolen.

The break-in occurred between Friday December 15 and Saturday December 16. A number of Robus down lights, a brown lump hammer, and a silver chisel were among the items taken. Anyone who has come across these items or who has any information on the burglary is asked to contact Loughgeorge Garda Station at 091 798122 or Galway Garda Station at 091 538028.

Appeal for motorist involved in Bohermore incident

Gardai are appealing to a woman whose car was involved in an incident on Bohermore last month to get in touch.

The woman was driving on Bohermore on Friday November 24 when a cyclist hit into her car. The woman offered to drive the cyclist home but the cyclist declined. The woman is asked to contact Galway Garda Station at 091 538000.
