Close your eyes. It’s midnight. The ground is shaking underfoot and your fingers are pulled upwards by some invisible but very audible force. This is Le Galaxie. Theri music demands to be danced to. It brooks no opposition.
Le Galaxie have replicated this scene across clubs and venues, bars and fields, tents and countries, cities and towns, parties and raves - and they have often done it in Galway at the Róisín Dubh, where, on every occasion, they have brought the house Down. They will do so again at the Dominick Street venue on Friday December 22 at 8pm.
Last year saw the band support Faithless on their Irish tour, sell out the Olympia Theatre, and play major European festivals like Lovebox, Benicassim, and Electric Picnic, while 2017 also saw numerous festival appearances culminating in Samhain in October, as special guests for Annie Mac, alongside Eats Everything and 2manydjs. Next year will see Le Galaxie release their third album, Pleasure, in March 2018 with a US record deal.
Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
