THE GALWAY Musical Society holds auditions for The Hired Man this Saturday in The Connaght Hotel at 2pm. All are welcome to try for parts or to be involved in the chorus.
The Hired Man will be staged in the Black Box Theatre from May 2 to 6 2018. It will be directed by Paul Norton. The musical director will be Shane Farrell with choreography by Jay Molyneux. The show is set in Cumbria, in the north of England, in the 20th century and centres on a young married couple and their struggle to carve a living from the land, despite the mounting threat of war.
