The International School of Make-up Artistry is currently taking enrolments for its full time and part time courses.
For those who currently hold an ITEC qualification, the teacher training part time course may be of interest. On successful completion of this ITEC lecturing course students will have an internationally recognised qualification which makes them eligible to tutor in an ITEC registered college.
Those who would like to qualify to become a professional make-up artist can choose between part time and full time options. These courses cover all areas of beauty make-up, from beginners to advanced levels, including day, evening, bridal, airbrushing, fashion make-up, and all the latest trend looks. Students also have the opportunity to complete a professional photoshoot, as part of their training.
The School of Make-up Artistry spans more than 25 years and its trainers have many years' experience working within the industry, working on all the international fashion shows, such as Paris, Milan, and London fashion weeks. They have also worked on high fashion magazines, in TV and film, and are eager to share their knowledge and enthusiasm with the students. Seventy five per cent of the course is practical based, and is suitable for adults of all ages.
Diploma students receive a MAC make-up kit, valued at more than €300, compliments of the school, when they begin the diploma course, and also have the opportunity to become MAC Pro student members, receiving a discount with MAC and a variety of cosmetic companies.
The school has placed more than 80 per cent of its graduates in secure positions, in Ireland and abroad, and they are now enjoying careers as professional make-up artists. Some graduates from the school are now working for leading cosmetic houses, such as MAC, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Laura Mercier, in Brown Thomas stores, and leading pharmacies throughout Ireland, others are working as freelance make-up artists, specialising in bridal, special occasion, and fashion make-up, while others are enjoying careers in TV, film, and theatre. If you are looking to further your education and enhance your career prospects, contact The School of Make-up Artistry, and choose from one of the many internationally recognised diploma courses or beginner certificate courses.
