Leading Galway and national artists such as Dorothy Cross, Imelda Healy, Joe Boske, Manus Walsh and Mark O’Neill feature in the 2017 MADRA Dog Rescue Charity Art Auction, on Saturday, December 9th, in The PorterShed, Eyre Square Galway.
More than 40 works of art will go under the hammer from 4pm, to raise vital funds for MADRA Dog Rescue, a dog rescue and rehoming service based in Connemara. This volunteer-led service rescued and rehomed 834 dogs in 2016.
The auction will be hosted by leading Galway auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan, and the online catalogue will be available at madra.ieand facebook.com/madradogrescue from December 1st, while public viewing of many of the artworks will commence on Monday, December 4th, in The PorterShed, Eyre Square, Galway.
