IGNITE Gospel Choir Christmas concert

Two charity shows from local choir at St Josephs' Church

THE IGNITE Gospel Choir holds its annual Christmas concert in St Josephs' Church, Presentation Road, on Friday December 22 at 8pm and Saturday 23 at 4pm, and will raise funds for the ME/CFS Association.

IGNITE, featuring more than 50 members, and under the direction of Keara Ní Dhomnaill, will perform festive favourites like 'Little Drummer Boy', 'Go Tell It To The Mountain', and 'It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas'. They will be joined by Aiblhe Marie Hession (piano ), Aine Kelly (violin ), Karl Clews (bass ), Ivor Curley (sax ), and Ned O Grady (drums ).

The concert will also raise funds for the ME/CFS Association. Myalgic encephalomyelitis is a long-term, fluctuating, neurological condition which causes symptoms affecting many body systems, more commonly the nervous and immune systems.
