"WILD FRONT come on like The 1975 listening to their dad's funk records," according to the NME, while Its All Indie said, "If there's any band that could better defy expectations, it's Wild Front".
The Hampshire quartet play Monroe's Live on Wednesday November 29 at 8pm. While their music falls into the broad category of indie-rock, as that NME quote reveals, they draw on a wide range of influences. Jack Williams is a folk music enthusiast; Josh Betteridge studied classical music at university; while Mike Flowers and Joe Connell’s musical loves range from West Coast hip hop to indie folk.
Tickets are €10 from www.monroes.ie The band's debut EP Physics can be heard on Bandcamp.
