FIELD TRIP, the Galway band who mix garage rock, indie-pop, and surf rock, with a grasp of songwriting and arrangement it takes others years to master, play the next Bus King gig.
The gig takes place this Saturday at 3pm in the Crustbucket pizza bus, the stationary double-decker bus in the beergarden of Carroll's, Dominick Street. Field Trip have been called "connoisseurs of the finest traditions of eighties and nineties indie and shoegaze" by the Galway Advertiser.
In March the band released their five track EP Evening's Over (Citóg Records/Little L ) which displayed a keen sense of melody and harmony, with the stand out track being 'Plant The Seed' - a contender for Galway song of the year with its irresistible chorus and Teenage Fanclub-esque vibes.
The gig is organised by Galway-based independent record label Rusted Rail. Admission is free. Space is limited. Early arrival is advised. All are welcome.
