Last weekend was a historic and famous one for Claregalway GAA club.
On Saturday they won the county intermediate football title and the next day travelled to Sligo to qualify for the Connacht intermediate final.
In Pearse Stadium they defeated Williamstown by 1-12 to 0-12 to win the county crown and promotion to play senior football in 2018.
They had big displays from man of the match Seán Moran, Conor Kelly, who hit 1-2, Barry Goldrick and Mark Rogan.
Then on Sunday the squad headed up in Markievicz Park where they came from behind to beat St (Sligo ) by 1-12 to 1-10 to qualify for the Connacht intermediate final and meet Michael Glaveys (Roscommon ) on November 19.
It was a Danny Cummins' goal that turned the tide in Claregalway's favour in that game, and the entire squad showed tremendous courage and resilience to come from behind to a win a second game inside 24 hours.
Seán Moran was again a key player in that victory and he produced a powerful weekend of football for his club.
Claregalway now have two weeks to recover from their exertions, and they will be hoping to close out their eventful season as Connacht champions.
