Notifi and Mark Lettieri Trio in special collaborative performance

NOTIFY, IRELAND'S experimental trad virtuosos, and America's Mark Lettieri Trio, featuring members of the Grammy Award winning jazz supergroup Snarky Puppy, will give a special collaborative performance at Monroe's Live.

Described as "forward looking...stylistically adventuresome...cinematic in scope," by the New York Echo, Notify are at the crossroads of traditional Irish music and ambient electronica. Centred around concertina player and electronic sound designer Pádraig Rynne, the band perform original melody compositions produced with sensitive electronic overlays and inventive arrangements. Irish Echo has called them "innovative, modern and exciting to listen to".

The Mark Lettieri Trio is an instrumental jazz-rock-fusion ensemble of guitarist Lettieri, bassist Wes Stephenson (another Snarky Puppy member who has also worked with D’Angelo ), and drummer Jason Thomas. Their most recent album Spark and Echo (2016 ) reached #2 on iTunes’ Jazz Chart, and #11 on Billboard’s Jazz Albums Chart, following growing international recognition among fans of instrumental guitar music, and the trio's vibrant social media presence.

Notify and the Mark Lettieri Trio play Monroe’s Live on Thursday November 16 at 8pm. Tickets are €15 via www.monroes.ie
