A Capella Knights to sing in aid of Simon

Children's show and evening show in Galway Cathedral

GALWAY'S A Capella Knights will host their third annual Christmas concert, The Knights Before Christmas, in aid of Galway Simon Community on Saturday December 2 in Galway Cathedral.

There will be two concerts. First is a children’s concert at 3pm, with the Knights joined by The Hession School of Dance, Scoil Íde, and Claddagh National School. The main concert is at 7.45pm, with the Knights accompanied by the Hession School of Dance, Galway Simon Music Project, Frenchville Brass Ensemble, and Galway City Youth Choir.

“We’re glad to be able to perform for the third year in a row and support Galway Simon Community," said the Knight's Keith Davies. "The homelessness crisis in Galway has become even more serious, especially in the last year. We are seeing the need, now more than ever, for services like Galway Simon’s. Last year’s the event raised over €8,000 and the night was a roaring success. We hope to build on that and raise the roof yet again this year!”

Tickets for both concerts are €15 via www.galwaysimon.ie Admission to the children’s concert is free for under 12s. For more information contact Galway Simon (091 381828, www.galwaysimon.ie ) or follow The A-Capella Knights on Facebook. All proceeds go to Galway Simon, which provides support and accommodation services to the homeless and those at risk of homelessness in Galway.
