COMEDIANS JASON Byrne and Eric Lalor star in Sons and Broken Noses, a new, Galway made short film co-directed by Colin Fleming and Nigel O'Brien, and written by Damien Aulsberry.
Byrne and Lalor play Jake and Sean, two down on their luck bank robbers whose day is about to get a whole lot worse. This dark comedic tale also stars Frank O'Sullivan as underworld kingpin Mick Ronan and his son Gabriel, played by Emmet Byrne. Will our two anti heroes live to see the dawn?
Colin is the founder and CEO of City Morgue Films and a graduate of NUI Galway. He has made a number of short horror films, including a remake of Kubrick's bar scene from The Shining as Gaeilge. Nigel O'Brien is a graduate of the VEC Galway film production course. His previous films Gun Down and The Last Man have screened at the Galway Film Fleadh. The executive producer Edwina Forkin, founder of Zanzibar Films, which produced Sanctuary, winner of Best Irish Film at Galway Film Fleadh 2016.
