Bluebird Care Galway has just been named as the Best Homecare Provider in Ireland for Quality Management Systems at this year’s National Q Mark Awards.
Hailed as “The Champions of Business Excellence”, the team from Bluebird Care Galway were beaming with pride as they were called to the stage to receive the winner’s award during a thrilling ceremony held in the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road Dublin.
The Q Mark Awards are forever associated with Quality and Excellence in the minds of Irish consumers and it is the only system which allows businesses to monitor 100 per cent of their processes and procedures 100 per cent of the time. Winning this award has shown that the team in Bluebird Care Galway truly care about their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that it achieves the highest possible standards at all times.
Bluebird Care Galway was established in October 2008 and is owned and operated by Sean and Eileen Lyons and Carolyn Corless. Employing 145 staff and caring for more than 600 people in their own homes, they have been in the Q Mark since 2012.
As they left the stage, Sean Lyons (Managing Director ) said “To be a recipient of a National Q Mark Award is a tremendous achievement. I think it is most important for our customers who are once again reminded that they have chosen a homecare provider that puts them at the heart of their business. We will continue to monitor best practice and partnering with EIQA will endevour to improve ourselves“.
Carolyn Corless (General Manager ) said; “I am thrilled to have received this prestigious award for the third time, it is a testimony to the collective efforts of the whole team at Bluebird Care Galway who work tirelessly every day providing Q Mark certified Homecare thus enabling hundreds of people to live at home for all of their lives.”
