Criminal damage in city centre on night of hurling celebration

Gardai are appealing for information in relation to the criminal damage of a black Audi that was parked on Cross Street, outside Busker Brownes in Galway city centre.

The incident occurred on Monday night, September 4, going into Tuesday morning, September 5 at approximately 02.45am. This was the Monday night after Galway won the All-Ireland.

The back window was smashed by a male who climbed up on the car and fell causing in excess of €1,000 in damage.

The male had blonde or light brown hair and was wearing dark jeans and a white Galway t-shirt.

There were a number of males in his company who also climbed up on the car.
