JAKE CLEMONS, saxophone player for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, and also a much admired solo artist, makes a welcome return to the Róisín Dubh this month as part of his Fear & Love Tour - Ireland Edition.
The singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Jake Clemons, released his latest solo album, Fear & Love, earlier this year via BMG. Speaking about the album, he said: “Fear & Love is a journey that forges through loss and hardship and attempts to reconcile those challenges until finding its way to the freedom of being vulnerable, and honest, mostly with yourself...The idea of having a theme and a concept for each record is due to a conversation that I had with Bruce. This album reflects the ‘right now” that you feel inside as opposed to the ‘right now’ that is external.”
This year has seen Jake appear on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, E Street Radio, Rolling Stone Radio, and Howard Stern Wrap Up Show, while his song 'All Undone' has been named 'Coolest Song In The World' on Little Steven’s Underground Garage.
Jake plays the Róisín Dubh on Saturday October 21 at 8pm. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
