Western Management Centre is starting the next employment law course at the end of September. This very topical course is relevant for anyone in a working environment including business owners, HR professionals, supervisors, and managers.
The course aims to give participants an understanding of the legal environment in which all workers and businesses must operate. It provides an overview of the main elements of Irish and European employment legislation as it relates to both employers and employees. The course focuses on both relevant and current topics including employment contracts, equality and diversity, termination of contracts and redundancy issues, health and safety concerns, labour relations institutions, trade unions, data protection, and much more.
The evening course runs over 12 weeks and is accredited by QQI at Level 6 on the National Framework. Other courses starting in September include the award in business management and the CIPD award in coaching and mentoring.
