Fantasy Football round five preview

In association with St. Anthony's & Claddagh Credit Union

The first week of European football is over and managers are breathing a sigh of relief that most players have come through continental exploits unscathed with the major exception of Paul Pogba.

But what happened in midweek is over and it is time for round five of the Galway Advertiser Tribal Leader League in association with St Anthony's and Claddagh Credit Union and here at the advertiser.ie we select our top players for the upcoming weekend.

Alvaro Morata (Chelsea ) v Arsenal

The man from Madrid has made a brilliant start to his Chelsea career with three goals in his first four outings for the Blues. Manager Antonio Conte rested Morata for Chelsea's facile win over Champions League new boys Qarabeg FK on Tuesday so the Spanish striker will be raring to go come Sunday. Arsenal have shown that they do not have the stomach for big matches especially away from North London and I expect Morata to increase his goal tally on Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

Harry Kane (Spurs ) v Swansea

He's back with a bang. Two goals last weekend against Everton and two on Wednesday against Borussia Dortmund mean Kane has found his scoring boots after his annual August drought. Swansea are up next to visit Wembley and Kane will find the back of the net again. The only question is how many times will he do this. Make the England forward your captain for points, points, and more points.

Gabriel de Jesus (Man City ) v Watford

It looks like the Citizens have found their saviour. Jesus destroyed Liverpool last weekend with a brace of goals and added another to his with a strike in Rotterdam. The young Brazilian looks to be taking over the mantle piece from Argentine hitman Sergio Aguero at the Etihad Stadium. Jesus will again be at the forefront of all that is good about City at Watford and I believe he will be on the score sheet again. Get him in your team.

So that's our top tips. Enjoy the weekend's football.
