EOIN DOLAN, one of County Galway's finest songwriters has just released his new single, 'Good Human Being?', as a taster for his forthcoming second album, Ubique.
'Good Human Being?', written and produced by Eoin, was recorded with Conor Deasy (lead guitar, backing vocals ), Adam Sheeran (bass ), and James Casserly (drums ), with Eoin on lead vocals, guitar, and synth. It was mastered by Fergal Davis. A video has been made for the single by New Pope.
Eoin describes 'Good Human Being?' as "an existential lament to a world of the future where humans travel to the stars, searching for comfort and solace in the darkness of space". Thematically then it shares traits with Neil Young's 'After The Goldrush' and Queen's ''39'.
The song will feature on Ubique which will be released on September 22 through Citóg Records. The record will be launched on Inis Oirr Island as part of the Notions Festival. Eoin will also tour Iceland from October 6 to 16. See www.eoindolan.com
