PAT MCDONNELL, who has achieved something close to comedic immortality for his memorable role as the Daniel O'Donnell spoofing Eoin McLove on Father Ted, make a welcome return to the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh.
McDonnell, who plays the Clubh on Friday [September 8] at 8.30pm, has also been seen in Moone Boy, Stew, The Savage Eye, and Naked Camera. He is also one of Ireland’s most accomplished and respected comedians, who has been touring comedy clubs at home and abroad for years, earning international acclaim - his vacant stare and guileless manner having audiences in stitches before he even opens his mouth.
Support is from Cork's Alan Hurley, and Darach McGarrigle, a finalist in the Ireland’s Got Comedy talent competition. The MC will be Áine Gallagher. Tickets are €10 via roisindubh.net or €12.50 on the door.
