Based in Costello village, Connemara, the business was set up more than 10 years ago by Patrick McDonagh after seeing a gap in the market. Patrick says, "I was working in the hotel industry and at the time, I felt the market was changing. The catering business was going towards private catering such as house catering or outdoor catering.
"People were having parties, christenings, and Communions at home so I took the leap into the catering business more than 10 years ago and we are still here, so we must be doing something right."
Connemara Catering caters for a variety of tastes and dietary requirements. Patrick says, "Whether you looking for tasty finger food for a small gathering, a cold buffet for an informal party, a full dinner menu for a wedding, Communion, christening, or anything in between, we will work with you to ensure your needs are not only met but exceeded.

"We also provide a full outdoor service. There are set menus which customers can mix and match, or we can tailor the menu to suit the client's needs and budget. You will find something that suits your tastes''.
"We also provide a standard, top quality disposable utensils needed for the occasion. Also available, if preferred, is a full crockery/cutlery/glassware service. If needed, we can supply table, chairs, and waiting staff service."
