The Forster Court Hotel may only have opened the Friday before race week, but with its recent refurbishments and perfect location just steps from Eyre Square and minutes from Shop Street, has meant it has already been home to a number of very well-known faces.
The newly reopened hotel has had top RTE stars including Miriam O Callaghan, Marty Morrissey, Des Cahill, Michael Lyster, Evanne Ni Chuilinn, and Blathnaid Ni Chofaigh enjoy its hospitality.
They enjoyed a day at the Galway Races on Tuesday and a night out in the race week favourite 1520 Bar on Quay Street. Selfies were very much the order of the day as the Montrose stars had queues of fans looked to get a snap with their favorite presenters.
The weekend saw the hotel guests include social media star and Snapchat Queen Doireann Garrihy fresh from judging the style in Ballybrit. Fair City actor and top comedian Eric Lalor and TV3 weatherman Deric O hArtagain were guests of the hotel while they were in town enjoying the festivities.
