THE CHAMBER Philharmonia Cologne, one of Germany's finest classical music ensembles, makes its annual visit to Galway net week, to perform a concert in St Nicholas' Collegiate Church.
The concert is on Wednesday August 2 at 8pm, where the ensemble will preform Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons as well as work by Handel, Tchaikovsky, and Paganini.
Speaking ahead of the concert, Chamber Philharmonia Cologne manager Jens Kehling said: "'Classical music the world over' is our motto. The objective is simple – we want to inspire as many people as possible across all generations to enjoy classical music. The popularity of our ensemble is reflected in the fact that the Chamber Philharmonia Cologne gives around 300 concerts a year around the globe and listeners throughout the world look forward to a musical encounter with our exceptionally talented musicians."
